Last night Atlantic Productions won a major Emmy award for the Best Nature Programme for the series David Attenborough’s Rise of Animals, produced for the BBC and the Smithsonian Channel and seen around the world. The award was presented to Producer Anthony Geffen accompanied by Director David Lee, Executive Producer for the Smithsonian Channel David Royle and VFX Supervisor Matt Baker-Jones.
Five years ago Atlantic also won the Emmy for the Best Nature Programme for the first part of this series David Attenborough’s First Life. This is the first time a team have retained this award for the first and second series.
