David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef has been nominated in the Specialist Factual category of the Televisual Bulldog Awards 2016, the latest in an impressive run of critical accolades. In this series, David Attenborough takes the audience on a journey aboard the Alucia, a 56-metre research and exploration vessel equipped with a state-of-the-art Triton submersible, laboratories and a helicopter. Viewers are treated to a perspective on the Great Barrier Reef that has never been seen before, and unprecedented access to some of the most remote parts of the Reef and it’s magical residents and visitors.
